SEASONAL YOGA WORKSHOPS
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine's Five Element Theory, each Season is connected to an Element & has it's own unique qualities & specific purpose. We are also connected to the Five Elements & get affected by the Seasons on a physical, mental & emotional level.
It is said if we live in harmony with each season, understand & balance the Elements within ourselves, we can experience health & harmony of all levels.

2.5 hour Yoga Workshops run on a Sunday on a seasonal basis to learn more about the wisdom of each season according to Traditional Chinese Medicine Five Element Theory.
Explore the purpose & healing qualities of each season through a journey of; Yoga Postures, Qi Gong Movements, Breathing Practices, Visualisation, Meditation & Relaxation.
Workshops are run by Tarryn & held at the Vitalessence Studio in Bentleigh.

Autumn relates to the Metal Element in Traditional Chinese Medicine, which main qualities in nature are;
Letting Go, Spaciousness & Renewal.
Autumn is a time of year for letting go what no longer serves you, to make space for what you truly value & appreciate. This season also teaches us to be open to change, new ideas & ways of being.
In the Autumn Yoga Workshop we will explore the qualities of the Metal Element within ourselves & balance the energies of this Element through; Yoga Poses, Qi Gong Movements, Breathing Practices & Meditation.
You will learn how the Metal Element relates to you & how it affects your health, on a Physical, Mental, Emotional & Spiritual level. You will also learn how to recognise an imbalance within yourself & how to apply simple, practical ways to enhance your health holistically throughout the season.
Everyone's welcome! No previous yoga or meditation experience necessary.

The main focus will be on detoxing the body from the sluggishness of Winter & from other toxins (ie diet & environment) - helping you to feel 'Refreshed' after a long Winter!
